2018 Doodle Romp

Join us for the 13th annual Doodles in Dewey Doodle Romp

The Doodles in Dewey Doodle Romp is now the largest fun loving doodle get together in the U.S. To cover the setup costs to hold this event, we reluctantly now need to charge a registration fee. For this 13th annual romp, the registration donation is $10 per person or $25 for a family or group. Registered participants will receive a gift package for their donation, which will include a sports pack, wristband, raffle ticket and tourist items. Every 100th registrant will get a free sweatshirt! All money left over from the setup of the romp goes directly to Food & Friends

Yes! Dewey Beach is generous enough to allow our dogs to run free on the beach, but they ask that they are licensed in Dewey. You can get a weekend license for only $5.00. They're also available for the week or for a lifetime. They're currently available by calling town hall at 302.227.6363. Ask for Joyce. They'll also be available at Town Hall on Rodney Street when you come to Dewey.

No, everyone should register separately so we can have an accurate count on-line.  You don't need to bring the registration to the beach.  If you're coming at the last minute, do try and register on-line, or check in at the main table so you and your dog(s) will be counted.

There are several options ~ view the Lodging page.

It's still off-season in Dewey. No parking permits required. Meters are inactive. You can find parking on all the side streets.

Alcohol is not allowed on the beach. Anything else you want to for a day at the beach is okay. Chairs, a blanket, dog toys, etc. Water will be available for purchase and we'll have Grotto pizza  slices on sale at the beach for lunch.
